L2 — Adjusting Site Angle K2-JACK

Setting the site angle of a ground-stacked array on K2-JACK — L2-CHARIOT uses front or rear screw jacks, while L2D-CHARIOT tilts the enclosure on ball-locking pins at fixed angle steps. Reference: LA-L2-ANGLE-01. Follow in order — this is a sequential rigging procedure, not an independent checklist; steps depend on the ones before them.

Safety notes

Minimum 2 operators. Rigging accessories: K2-JACK, L2-CHARIOT or L2D-CHARIOT.
Tipping hazard — adjust either the front or the rear stabilizer, never both at the same time.
Loosen and tighten stabilizer bolts by hand only.

Prerequisite

K2-JACK is already secured to the chariot. See Attaching K2-JACK Stabilizers.

L2-CHARIOT: Screw Jacks

Verify the wheels are as close as possible to the ground without touching it. Loosen the front or the rear stabilizer bolts by hand, depending on the target site angle — never loosen both ends at once. Rotate the rear screw jacks for a negative site angle, or the front screw jacks for a positive site angle. Tighten the front or rear bolts by hand, matching the end you adjusted.

L2D-CHARIOT: Tilt Pins

Always install K2-JACK before setting the L2D-CHARIOT site angle. Remove the bottom ball-locking pin on each side — do not remove the pins securing L2D to L2D-CHARIOT. Tilt the enclosure to the target angle — 0°, 8°, 12°, or 20° — and secure the ball-locking pins at that step.
