K3 — Stacking K3 on KS28 with K3-TILT

Ground-stacking K3 enclosures on top of a KS28 sub stack using K3-TILT and KS28-OUTRIG. Reference: LA-K3-TILT-KS28-01. Follow in order — this is a sequential rigging procedure, not an independent checklist; steps depend on the ones before them.

Minimum 2 operators.
Stacked K3-TILT + KS28-OUTRIG: safe limit 5 enclosures / maximum 4 K3 + 4 KS28.
K3-TILT is for stacked use only — do not use K3-TILT in a flown array.
9 discrete angle positions on the rear arms: 0°, 2.5°, 5°, 7.5°, 10°, 12.5°, 15°, 17.5°, 20°.
Refer to your Soundvision model for the maximum number of enclosures in this stack.
Stacking KS28 itself is covered by KS28's own documentation and is not detailed here.

Stacking on KS28

Secure KS28-OUTRIG under KS28 — risk of crushing injury, keep fingers away from the contact area between the ledge and the cabinet. Optionally, secure an additional KS28 on top, connecting each enclosure on both sides before adding the new one. Place the K3-TILT on top of KS28. Secure the K3-TILT to KS28. Place one K3 on KS28, aligning the enclosure to the arms of K3-TILT. Secure K3 to the K3-TILT: secure the front arms of K3-TILT to the bottom front of the enclosure with the K3 ball-locking pin, secure the rear arms of K3-TILT to the bottom rear of the enclosure with the K3 ball-locking pin, then set the site angle with the rear arms by removing the ball-locking pin of the sliding arms, lifting the enclosure to the desired angle, and securing the sliding arm with the ball-locking pin. Add another K3 to the first one, following the block-preparation method (see the block-preparation guide).
