K2 — Ground Stacking K1-SB

Stacking a K2 block on top of a K1-SB subwoofer stack via K2-BUMP. Reference: LA-K2-STACK-K1SB-01. Follow in order — this is a sequential rigging procedure, not an independent checklist; steps depend on the ones before them.

Safety notes

This procedure builds a K2 stack on top of a K1-SB subwoofer stack. Stacking the K1-SB portion itself is covered by the separate K1 rigging guides (K1-SB uses the same procedures as K1) — this guide starts once the K1-SB stack and K2-BUMP are already in place.
K2-JACK stabilizers must not overlap the K2-CHARIOT wheel stops — this preserves K2-CHARIOT's ability to stack efficiently in storage.

Prerequisite: K1-SB Stack & K2-BUMP

Stack as many K1-SB enclosures as necessary — refer to the K1 rigging guides for the block-preparation and stacking method (K1-SB follows the same procedure as K1). Position and attach a K2-BUMP on top of the K1-SB stack — refer to the K1-BUMP attachment method in the K1 rigging guides. Slide out the K1-SB front rigging arm and pin it at 0° on both sides. Attach the K2-BUMP to the K1 elements block: remove the K2-BUMP's rear and front pins on both sides and lower it so it rests on the topmost enclosure, rotate the rear rigging arm and pin it on the frame, then pin the front rigging arm on the frame.

Stacking K2 on the K2-BUMP

Position an upside-down K2 enclosure on the K2-BUMP. Add as many additional K2 enclosures on top of the first one as required.

Optional: Stabilizing an Independent K2-CHARIOT Base

Only needed if the K2 block sits on its own K2-CHARIOT rather than directly on the K2-BUMP — omit this section otherwise.

Remove the two K2-JACK from the K2-CHARIOT: remove the stabilizers from each bar, then remove the bar from the K2-CHARIOT. Attach the K2-JACK to the K2-CHARIOT: insert the K2-JACK studs through the K2-CHARIOT, then raise and turn the K2-JACK handles to secure the locking system (dust from the threaded rod on first use is normal, not a malfunction). Prepare the K2-JACK stabilizers by rotating the threaded rod counter-clockwise so the central part of the stabilizer is closest to the base. Attach the stabilizers to the bar: insert the feet in the guides at both ends of the bar, pivot the feet so they contact the bar, then lock them in position with a quarter-turn of the locking system. Rotate the feet clockwise to raise the K2-CHARIOT off the ground — stop raising as soon as the wheels get off the ground.
