K1 — Securing LA-RAK II AVB on K1-BUMP

Stacking and securing LA-RAK II AVB touring racks on top of K1-BUMP before flying. Reference: LA-K1-RACK-MOUNT-01. Follow in order — this is a sequential rigging procedure, not an independent checklist; steps depend on the ones before them.

Rigging accessories: K1-BUMP, 4× 22 mm shackles WLL 3.25 t, rack stabilizer.
Minimum 4 operators.
A maximum of four LA-RAK II AVB can be stacked on top of K1-BUMP.
Risk of falling objects — verify no unattached items remain on the product/assembly.
Risk of crushing injury — make sure LA-RAK II AVB doors are secured with the safety pin (refer to the LA-RAK II AVB owner's manual).
Do not rotate a coupling bar's spring-loaded safety more than 90° from its resting position.
Prerequisite: prepare K1-BUMP for rigging and place it on the ground first.

Securing LA-RAK II AVB on K1-BUMP

Remove the coupling bars from LA-RAK II AVB by turning the spring-loaded safety mechanisms to release the bars and sliding them out — align the spring-loaded safety with the coupling bar before pulling, and make sure the spring-loaded safety is intact. Position LA-RAK II AVB on K1-BUMP with the front of the rack oriented toward the front of the array (check the sticker on the front of K1-BUMP to identify the sides) — risk of crushing injury. Secure LA-RAK II AVB with the coupling bars: insert the coupling bars so the round safety mechanisms point upward — from the back for a negative site angle (rear extension), from the front for a positive site angle (front extension) — insert the spring-loaded safety into the LA-RAK II AVB rails, give it a quarter turn, and slide the bar until the safety locks into place with an audible click. Repeat the coupling-bar removal and rack securing steps to secure up to four LA-RAK II AVB on K1-BUMP — risk of falling: if two racks are used, each must sit directly on K1-BUMP; if four racks are used, arrange them in two dual-rack columns. Slide the rack stabilizer along the top LA-RAK II AVB rails until it locks (unscrew the rack stabilizer safety screw first if necessary). Screw in the rack stabilizer safety screw. Secure the motor hooks to the external shackles of the K1-BUMP rigging bar — if two or four LA-RAK II AVB are installed, place the front motor chain into the groove of the rack stabilizer; if one or three are installed, place the front motor chain on the external side of the rack stabilizer to prevent K1-BUMP tilting during enclosure rigging (the front motor chain must be slid back into the groove after enclosure rigging).
