K1 — Attaching a Block of Four K2 Under a K1 Element
Hanging a prepared block of four K2 beneath a flown K1/K1-SB array using K2-LINK interfaces. Reference: LA-K1-ADD-K2-01. Follow in order — this is a sequential rigging procedure, not an independent checklist; steps depend on the ones before them.
- Rigging accessories: 4× 22 mm shackles WLL 3.25 t, K2-LINK.
- Minimum 3 operators.
- K1/K1-SB must always be on top of a K2 array.
- When using K1-BUMP to fly K2 arrays, use the 0.25° hole on K2-LINK to align the top K2 with K1-BUMP — using other holes affects the array site angle.
- Prerequisite: a block of four K1/K1-SB is already flown with preset inter-enclosure angles; a block of four K2 is prepared with its own inter-enclosure angles preset per the K2 owner's manual.
