Kara — Standalone Array Rigging

Flying a standalone KARA array (two 3-box sub-arrays) from an M-BUMP, with an optional pull-back configuration. Reference: LA-KARA-FLY-STD-RIG-01. Follow in order — this is a sequential rigging procedure, not an independent checklist; steps depend on the ones before them.

Safety notes
  • M-BUMP can nominally fly up to 24 KARA enclosures (max decreases with array curvature — verify in Soundvision).
  • All ball-locking pins (BLP) must be fully inserted at every step.
  • Check every shackle bolt is fully screwed and secured with its safety pin.
  • If using pull-back, max downward angle depends on array composition (e.g. 12 KARA/0 SB18 → max −90°, 9 KARA/3 SB18 → max −60°) — verify in Soundvision.

Same M-BUMP, opposite orientation depending on the job — flown, the plate reads normally; ground-stacked, it mounts upside down. Both configurations still point the laser slits at the audience.
