Kara / Platform-Stacking a Standalone Array (Rigging)
Platform Setup & Leveling
Place the M-BUMP at the stacking location, oriented so the identification plate text is upside down (inverted vs. a flown rig) and the laser slits point toward the audience. ▣ Diagram
Prepare two M-BAR/M-JACK assemblies: for each M-BAR, remove the safety pin and bolt from a shackle, align an M-JACK hole with the second hole from the end of the M-BAR, secure with the bolt and safety pin, then repeat to attach a second M-JACK to the other end of the M-BAR.
Per the desired configuration, install both M-BAR/M-JACK assemblies beneath the M-BUMP: for each M-BAR, remove both T-BLP, lift one side of the M-BUMP, place the M-BAR beneath it with its M-JACK on the ground, lower the M-BUMP to insert its slits into both M-BAR studs, then secure with both T-BLP.
Level the stacking platform by setting the height of the 4 M-JACK: unscrew the top nut (16 mm hex key) on each M-JACK, use an inclinometer and hand-held level to rotate the 4 knobs until horizontal (the base nut, 14 mm hex key, can substitute if the knob has high resistance), then secure each M-JACK base by screwing the top nut back down.
Loading the Array
Place a full flight-case at the stacking location and remove the cover (enclosures designated KARA#1-3, top to bottom).
Set KARA#1 in stacking configuration on both sides: remove the front top R-BLP from storage, rotate the front arm up, slide it down, and secure with an R-BLP in the yellow link hole; remove the rear top R-BLP from storage, slide the angle arm to the desired angle, and secure with an R-BLP in the corresponding angle hole; then remove the front and rear bottom link R-BLP and reinsert them into their bottom storage holes.
Connect KARA#1 to the M-BUMP: lift and turn KARA#1 with its arms downward and front face toward the audience, insert the 4 arms into the M-BUMP's connecting points (using the angle arm extensions' rear points if installed), then secure the front connecting points with R-BLP on the M-BUMP and the rear connecting points with either R-BLP on the M-BUMP or T-BLP on the angle arm extensions, depending on the configuration.
Set KARA#2 in stacking configuration by repeating the KARA#1 stacking-configuration method.
Connect KARA#2 to KARA#1: put KARA#2 upside down with its front face toward the audience, insert its 4 arms into KARA#1's connecting points, then move KARA#1's 4 top storage R-BLP into the top yellow link holes.
Connect KARA#3 to KARA#2 by repeating the KARA#2 stacking-configuration and connection methods — do not remove KARA#3's 4 bottom R-BLP from storage, since it's the topmost enclosure.
Recheck that the stacking platform is still horizontal — if not, re-level it per the M-JACK leveling step.

Same M-BUMP, opposite orientation depending on the job — flown, the plate reads
