Kara — Under SB18 Array Rigging

Flying a standalone KARA array beneath an already-flown SB18 sub array, with an optional pull-back configuration. Reference: LA-KARA-FLY-SB18-RIG-01. Follow in order — this is a sequential rigging procedure, not an independent checklist; steps depend on the ones before them.

Safety notes
  • M-BUMP can nominally fly up to 4 SB18 + 12 KARA enclosures (max decreases with curvature/coupling mode — verify in Soundvision).
  • Requires the SB18 array already flown to an M-BUMP per the separate SB18 Rigging Manual (not covered here — this guide starts once the SB18 array is already flown).

M-BUMP-to-SB18 connecting arm
M-BUMP arm rotates out SB18

At each of the four points, the external arm on M-BUMP swings outward to reach the SB18 below, then a T-BLP pin locks it in place — repeat on all four connecting points before trusting the assembly.
