Kara / Flying Under an SB18 Array (Rigging)
Building Array 1
Place a full flight-case at the rigging location, remove the cover, and orient the first 3-KARA array (ARRAY#1, KARA#1-3) with its front face toward the audience.
Check the inter-enclosure connections in ARRAY#1 on both sides: front connecting points open and locked by 2 R-BLP in the yellow link holes; rear connecting points with the angle arm cursor at 0° and locked by 2 R-BLP.
On KARA#1, deploy the four arms on both sides: front arm rotated up, slid down, and secured with an R-BLP in the yellow link hole; rear arm slid to align the cursor with 5°, and secured with an R-BLP in the angle hole.
Place a second M-BUMP at the rigging location, remove its 4 R-BLP, place it onto ARRAY#1 aligning the 4 connecting points, and secure with the 4 R-BLP — orient it so the identification plate is readable and the laser slits face the audience.
Raise the SB18 array slightly higher than ARRAY#1, place ARRAY#1 beneath it, then lower the SB18 array to align its 4 connecting points with ARRAY#1's, until the bottom SB18 and the M-BUMP are in contact.
Attach the 4 connecting points between the SB18 array and the M-BUMP: on each point, remove the external T-BLP from the M-BUMP, rotate the arm out, and secure it to the bottom SB18 by reinserting the T-BLP. ▣ Diagram
Raise ARRAY#1 to a reachable height and remove the flight-case.
With two people working simultaneously on each side, set ARRAY#1's inter-enclosure angles: grab KARA#3's back handle, remove KARA#2's rear top R-BLP, rotate KARA#2 to align the angle-arm cursor with the desired angle, secure with an R-BLP in the corresponding angle hole, then repeat for KARA#3.
Building Array 2
Place a second flight-case, remove the cover, and orient the second 3-KARA array (ARRAY#2, KARA#4-6) with its front face toward the audience.
Check the inter-enclosure connections in ARRAY#2 on both sides (same check as for ARRAY#1).
On KARA#4, take both front arms out on each side — remove the front top R-BLP, rotate the front arm up, and slide it down — without reinserting the R-BLP yet.
Raise ARRAY#1 slightly higher than ARRAY#2's front arms and place ARRAY#2 beneath.
Attach the front connecting points between ARRAY#1 and ARRAY#2: slide KARA#4's front arms up to align with KARA#3's bottom front connecting points, move KARA#3's bottom R-BLP from storage into the bottom yellow link holes, lower the array until the KARA#3/KARA#4 front corners contact, and secure KARA#4's front arms with R-BLP in the top yellow link holes.
Raise the array to a reachable height and remove the flight-case.
With two people working simultaneously on each side, attach the rear connecting points between ARRAY#1 and ARRAY#2: remove KARA#4's rear top R-BLP from storage, slide the angle arm to the desired angle, secure with an R-BLP, grab KARA#6's back handle to rotate ARRAY#2 and align the KARA#3/KARA#4 rear connecting points, then move KARA#3's rear bottom R-BLP into the yellow link hole.
Set ARRAY#2's inter-enclosure angles by repeating the ARRAY#1 angle-setting method.

At each of the four points, the external arm on M-BUMP swings outward to reach the
SB18 below, then a T-BLP pin locks it in place — repeat on all four connecting
points before trusting the assembly.
