K2 — Flying an Array K2-RIGBAR

Building a flown K2 array from K2-RIGBAR, including the pullback option. Reference: LA-K2-FLY-RIGBAR-01. Follow in order — this is a sequential rigging procedure, not an independent checklist; steps depend on the ones before them.

Safety notes
  • Pullback rigging points must be spaced to align with the array's pickup points, and the deployment load-bearing lines must be parallel to each other.
  • Attach the bar to the LA-SLING2T using two 3.25 t WLL shackles through the interior holes only — the external holes are dedicated to safety slings/sling bridles.
  • Do not stand behind the array when raising it — it swings backwards when raised.

The primary sling lands on the two interior holes, forming a triangle back to the motor hook. The outer holes are a separate, dedicated point for a safety sling — not an alternative place to hang the primary load.
