Preparing the Blocks

Attach K2 on K2-CHARIOT by fully rotating the rear rigging arms of K2-CHARIOT and attaching a first K2. Position K2 on the K2-CHARIOT dolly. Secure the enclosure at the front using the LINK hole. Lift the rear of the enclosure and rotate the dolly's rear rigging arm to its upward position. Secure the enclosure using the LINK hole. Position another K2 on the first one — keep holding it by the handles until the front rigging arm is secured. While holding the handle, rotate the front rigging arm and secure it with both LINK pins. Slide the rear rigging arm and secure it with both pins, in the LINK and 10° holes. Make sure the automatic locking system button is unloaded — if pressed, pull to disengage the latch. Repeat the K2-CHARIOT attachment, positioning, and securing steps above until each block of four is complete — prepare all the blocks of four K2 necessary to build the array. On both sides of each block, remove the pin from its current angle hole. Position the pin at the chosen angle hole and slide the rigging arm until the pin goes in (the angle hole to choose depends on your Soundvision model). Press the lock button to lock the inter-enclosure angle.

Frame Setup

Place and open a K-BUMPFLIGHT under the motor. If attaching K2-BAR to the K2-BUMP, refer to your Soundvision model to identify the extension and position of the bar (position A or B, front or rear extension). Remove the pins and lift the K2-BAR using the motor. Turn the K2BUMPFLIGHT 90°, lower the K2-BAR, and pin it according to the chosen flying option. If necessary, stack one or two LA-RAK II AVB on the K2-BUMP: place the K2-BUMP on the ground, stack the LA-RAK II AVB on it, then raise the K2-BUMP. Prepare the pickup points — refer to your Soundvision model for the number and position of the shackles.

Building the Array

Lift the assembly so a block of four K2 can be positioned under it. Attach the block of four K2 to the K2-BUMP: lower the K2-BUMP to allow for front connection. Attach the front rigging arm on both sides: rotate it and secure with the K2-BUMP pin, then lower the K2-BUMP and secure the connection with the K2 pin (move the frame back and forth if the pin won't insert). Lower the rear of the K2-BUMP, leaving a gap to allow sliding the K2 arm to its 5° position — do not lower until contact. Attach the rear rigging arm to the frame: slide the arm to its 5° position, preset the angle with the enclosure pin, then secure the arm with the frame pin. Raise the array to lock the inter-enclosure angles. Remove K2-CHARIOT: holding the dolly with one hand, remove the back pin on both sides, then remove the front pin on both sides. Lift the assembly so another block of four K2 can be positioned under it — verify no yellow label is visible on both sides of the array. Attach the front rigging arm of the new block on both sides: rotate it to align its hole with the K2 rigging hole, pin it in the LINK hole of the flown array, then lower the flown array and secure it with the LINK pin (move the flown array back and forth with the enclosure handle if the pin won't insert). Lock the inter-enclosure angles of the block by raising the array — the lower K2 enclosures swing and the latches automatically lock. Attach the lower K2 enclosures' rear rigging arm to the back of the array: turn the wheels inside the dolly, pull back the bottom enclosures while lowering the array until it contacts the top enclosure of the block, slide the arm upward and secure with the pin using the LINK hole, position the pin at the entrance of the chosen angle hole and slide the arm until the pin goes in, then press the lock button. Raise the array to lock the inter-enclosure angle — the latches automatically lock; verify the rear rigging arms are secured by pins and no yellow label is visible on the front. Remove the K2-CHARIOT: holding the dolly with one hand, remove the back pin on both sides, then remove the front pin on both sides. Repeat the lift-and-attach sequence above (lifting the assembly, then attaching the next block of four K2 to the bottom of the array) until the array is complete. If necessary, implement a pullback with K2-RIGBAR — refer to the K2-RIGBAR flying guide's pullback procedure. Raise the array to its final trim height. Adjust the site and azimuth angles.
