V/Y Series — De-rigging Subwoofers

Safely de-rigging a flown V-SUB or Y-SUB subwoofer array. Reference: VY-MAN-DERIG-SUB-01. Follow in order.

Landing the Array

Carefully land the flown subwoofer array on the ground. Disengage all load-bearing connections of the lowest sub and store all front and rear links. Reinsert all locking pins immediately into their respective storage holes. Lower the remaining suspended sub(s) to the ground and repeat the process to detach them sequentially.

Frame Pack-down

Detach the uppermost subwoofer from the flying frame. Store the splay link of the flying frame in its parking position. Ensure all rigging components and pins are safely stored on the cabinets and frame. Confirm the frame is in a clean configuration and pack it back into its flight case.
