Preparing the flying frame and rigging accessories before building an array — do this before any rigging-mode-specific procedure. Reference: GSL-MAN-OVERVIEW-01.

Frame Preparation

Attach the load beam to the SL flying frame (Standard orientation for down-tilt, or Front orientation for up-tilt). Mount the d&b Array Sight sender unit into the integral mounting plate at the front opening of the frame. Attach the two shackles to the frame to secure the two-leg safety chain. Install the hoist connector chain to prevent the motor's chain bag from touching the array. Attach the aiming plate to adjust the horizontal orientation of the array as needed.

Cabinet Connection & Transport

Connect the flying frame directly to the first loudspeaker cabinet using the two front recesses and the rear splay link. For transport, load up to 4 top cabinets onto the dedicated touring cart. Place the flying frame and load beam onto the touring cart, apply the quick-remove cover, and use the extension zippers to ensure proper fit.
