GSL/KSL — Compression Mode De-rigging

Decompressing and de-rigging a compression-mode array back into touring carts. Reference: GSL-MAN-DERIG-COMP-01. Follow in order.

Decompression

Unhook the chain bag and disconnect the master link from the compression chain. Engage the lever hoist and decompress the array until all loudspeakers are completely load-free. Set the lever hoist to neutral, disengage the clutch, and gently let the load chain pass through. Detach the lever hoist and master link, then disengage the compression frame at the rear, followed by the front.

First Cart — Bottom Cabinets

Move the rear locking pins of the bottom four cabinets to the transport position. Ensure the touring cart is configured for compression mode, attach it to the front links, lift the rear to engage the splay link, and insert the safety pin. Release the locking pin of the 4th cabinet from the bottom. Lower the array until the splay link of the 5th cabinet is load-free, flip it up, and release the front links of the 5th cabinet. Raise the rest of the suspended array slightly, store the front links, and roll the loaded cart away.

Remaining Carts & Pack-down

Unhook the lever hoist and grab link, then detach the compression chain from the load beam. Insert all rear locking pins of the remaining cabinets into the transport position and attach the final touring cart. Lower the array, detach the load beam, and place it in its transport position on the touring cart. Detach and store the aiming plate, ensuring all pins are stored properly.
